Both draws to be held in Budapest, at the Atrium of the Hotel Sofitel.
The International Swimming Federation (FINA) organise also the official draw ceremony of the 12th Women’s Junior World Championship to be held in Volos and the 19th Men’s Junior World Championship to be held in Belgrade.
The ceremony will be conducted by FINA Bureau Member Mr. Dimitris Diathesopoulos and Mr Gianni Lonzi, Chairman of the Technical Water Polo Committee, and organised by BP2017 Organising Committee with the help of the Hungarian Water Polo Federation.
After the group phase, the teams which finished in the first place go automatically to the quarter finals. The squads that finished in the second and the third place, will play crossover matches with each other.
