Two weeks left for the senior professional sportsmen and amateurs to enter for the 17th FINA Masters World Championships: At midnight 29th June competitors’ registration will be closed.
Between 7 – 20th August 2017 the registration period for some races of the Masters, organized at the locations of Budapest and Balatonfüred, ended earlier. Because of the great interest shown in the event, the number of water polo and synchronized swimmers has been finalized by achieving its maximum.
Noteworthy point: not only competitors and their coaches have to register, but attendants, family members and relatives also have chance to get accreditation. By being accredited not only the entry is ensured for the races but the travelling costs can also be reduced to zero: for those who are accredited public transport will be available for free in the capital and back and forth to Balatonfüred, to the location of the open water swimming race.
The interest shown in the 17th FINA Masters World Championships is huge, the number of registered visitors have already exceeded the 10 thousand at the beginning of the month. As antecedents show the chance is high this Masters can be the event with the highest number of registered participants ever in the history of the Masters World Championships.
